During a fierce civil war battle, a young soldier boy came running at top speed. When asked why he was running, he shouted back, “I’m running ‘cause I can’t fly!”

Have you ever struggled with figuring out what direction to take? Whether it’s concerning your education, career, relocation or relationships, we’ve all been in a certain point in our lives where we don’t know exactly where to go. Sometimes catastrophes happen in our lives that cause us to do what the soldier boy did and just run the other way.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a book you can buy or a how-to video you can watch that would tell you exactly what to do in every instance of your life. What if life isn’t as much about following directions as it is about following a person?

How would your life change if you followed the perfect person?

(John 8:12) “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”–Jesus the Christ
